Vacancy Description

The two trusts between them employ over 24,000 staff and have a collective turnover of more than £2.2bn, which make them major players regionally and nationally, as well as key partners in the Integrated Care System (ICS) of north east London (NEL), alongside Homerton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the two mental health providers, ELFT and NELFT.  It will take time to change behaviours and ways of working, and this post is pivotal to establishing a new culture, extending the concept of larger clinical teams that work closely to promote better healthcare for people living in north east London.

This is one of several Co-Chair appointments between trusts in London and signals the commencement of a much closer, collaborative working arrangement between Barts Health and BHRUT.

We are looking for candidates who want to use their energy, skills and experience to help drive the delivery of sustainable healthcare services for the people of north east London and neighbouring boroughs and counties. Applicants should live in or have a strong connection to a community within North East London. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of local services by sharing your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to your community.
