Vacancy Description

The Trust is seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and committed Non-Executive Director to join the Trust Board. 

As a multi-speciality health and social care teaching provider, the trust provide a wide range of services including, community and inpatient mental health services, learning disability services, community services, healthy lifestyle support and addictions services and a growing number of primary care services in Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, Scarborough and Ryedale and the Whitby area, employing approximately 2,500 staff across over 120 sites. As a teaching trust, they work closely with major academic partners, nurturing a workforce of tomorrow’s health professionals.

 

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be committed to the needs of patients, service users, carers and the surrounding community and to continuing to improve the quality of the services provided.

The successful candidate will also be someone who has experience of working at Board level or equivalent, in a large, complex organisation and ideally will have experience of working in human resources and/or organisational development, or working in the third sector, or in communications and marketing.
