Vacancy Description

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is looking for three new non-executive directors to help shape and influence its future strategic direction whilst supporting and challenging executive directors during on-going pandemic recovery and reduction of waiting lists.

These roles incorporate both existing vacancies and an additional role created to give greater flexibility and capacity across our hospital group whilst also enhancing our succession planning. All roles will bring additional depth to our decision-making and develop our own talent.  The successful candidates will join a highly capable Board that prides itself on keeping patients at the heart of its decisions.

The Trust is one of the largest in the country with an enhanced role in research and development and recent TV star through the BBC Hospital documentary series. We are seeking candidates who will help us to better reflect the diverse experiences of our staff, patients and stakeholders.  We particularly would welcome applications from members of our Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities who are currently under-represented on our Board of Directors.
